W. Jim Striegel LMHC, is licensed mental health counselor located in Spring Hill, Florida.  Since 1998, his work experience has included family therapist, a crisis care counselor, mental health and substance abuse counselor and has experience training and supervising counselors.  As a therapist he has experience counseling adults and children who present with a variety of issues including:  depression, anxiety, grief and loss, stress, anger management, parenting skills, weight loss, motivation, bipolar disorder, trauma, sexual abuse, alcohol & drug problems, marriage and couple's problems.

When it comes to marriage counseling, Jim believes that most marriages can be preserved.  He has completed the Gottman Institute Level I training and utilizes a series of questionnaires, assessments and homework assignments in conjunction with more traditional methods to help couples build their future together. 

Jim has been trained in traditional psychotherapy and is a Certified Practitioner in Clinical Hypnosis with Rapid Trauma Resolution.
